Cynthia Sewell is a Mi’gmaq artist from Pabineau First Nation. Cynthia’s journey of traditional Mi’gmaq music began as a keeper of the drum. Her musical career has spanned over three decades. She has performed through out the maritime provinces, Quebec and Maine. “Shaker Chants” Is a collection of songs Cynthia created from ceremony, and life experience. “This album is my sharing of music to support and celebrate the interconnections we all have to one another as a community. M’sit nogama /All My Relations”
