My name is Natasha Barlow. I’m Mi’kmaq from Indian Island First Nation. I’m a multidisciplinary artist and have been an artist for the majority of my life. As a child, my grandmother was a well-known quilter and basket maker. She taught me how to sew and make baskets. From there, I began to learn how to bead leading to various styles of beading. Creating always came natural to me and I have sense expanded my knowledge into working with quill work, resin art and making regalia’s.
